Vintage 1960s cat basket brooch. The brooch is in the style of a Victorian design, the piece was most likely cast from a older brooch. The piece is set in a highly shined silver tone metal, the metal is most likely nickel silver (alloy of copper, nickel and zinc) commonly used in costume jewellery. The piece is in excellent vintage condition, measuring 4cm / 1.5" in width and 2.5cm / 0.9" in height.
